The Destiny Bad Juju Exotic Pulse Rifle Review

You can get the Bad Juju exotic pulse rifle after you get the “Vanguard Mentor Missive” as a random reward. Once you have it you can exchange it to Xander 99-40 for the exotic bounty that is called “Toland’s Legacy”. After finishing that bounty you’ll be rewarded with some Bad Juju. Previously, this gun was of little use, but with one of the more recent updates to Destiny this has become one of the best exotic weapons you can get when it comes to doing PvE. It causes Kinetic damage.

The gun is made to use the String of Curses perk, and with that you can really do some damage. This will boost your damage and reload your weapon when you manage to do a kill, not to mention the fact that it has a high fire rate and can be fired in full auto mode. It will also help you to fill up your super meter at a faster rate. This works well for Warlocks if you’re rockin’ some nice exotic armor.

This is a great gun to have when it comes to swarm encounters. This is because you end up saving yourself quite a bit of time due to never needing to reload. Whats cool is when it does reload itself from the result of a kill the ammo won’t come from what you have; meaning as long as you’re the one to finish something off you basically have infinite ammo.

Bad Juju Downsides

Bad Juju does have its drawbacks. The lower impact rating means that it can take a lot of hits to take down higher tier enemies. Its not ideal for PvP for this reason as well, especially when you consider that pulse rifles already don’t do well against other players. Since the gun is made for String of Curses, you’re going to need to be able to be the one finishing off your enemies. Harder to do if you’re in a group.
