The Destiny Hawkmoon: A Review of this Exotic Hand Cannon

You can get the Hawkmoon through PvE, legendary engrams, and the Crucible. This exotic hand cannon is a much sought after gun in Destiny, and for good reason. The damage it can put out is pretty impressive. It causes Kinetic damage.

With an impact that most enemies will feel, this is an exotic gun that has a decent sized magazine clip. Even without any enhancements this is a force to be reckoned with. The majority of the upgrades/enhancements are quite nice, with Holding Aces and Luck in the Chamber being especially so. This is because they give you a chance to have some random bullets dealing extra damage to whoever you’re shooting at. Add to that some distance upgrades and you’ll be dishing out plenty of damage at any distance.

Hawkmoon Downsides

Honestly, there’s not much to be said against the Hawkmoon hand cannon. However, some gamers have complained that there is little personal customization since upgrades replace your previous options in the tree. Still, that’s really not saying all that much against it.
