The Destiny SUROS Regime: A Review of this Exotic Auto Rifle

You can buy the SUROS Regime from Xur for 23 Strange Coins, get it through the Cryptarch lottery, through the Crucible, in loot chests in the Vault of Glass, from legendary engrams, Vanguard Tiger Strikes, and the Weekly Nightfall Strike. This is an exotic rifle that is hailed as one of the top primary exotic weapons that you can get, and is especially useful when doing PvP. This gun does Kinetic damage.

Destiny SUROS Regime Exotic Auto Rifle

This is a great gun for a lot of different situations. The rate of fire works well when you need to shoot from the hip, and the weapon works quite well for head shots. With a nice, high impact it won’t take much from this to drop your foes inside of the Crucible. In addition to the high range and accuracy, the perk SUROS Regime gives half of your magazine a nice damage boost while potentially healing you. You can kill someone with 2 quick headshots with this damage boost. All of the different perks you have available to choose from really make it so that you can be pretty versatile with this gun.

The SUROS Regime Downsides

Not much can be said against this gun. Some might say that having a slower rate of fire when you sight down is a bad thing, but I’ve found it to be rather useful for getting off those headshots. It doesn’t have the biggest magazine size in the world, but that isn’t an issue that really comes up because of the high impact with the gun. Honestly, I would say that the biggest issue that people seem to have with this is that tons and tons of people in the game have it. This is because Xur sells it so often, and people grab it as soon as they can since its one of the best available.

Summary

Easily one of the top exotics you can get in Destiny, I’d highly recommend the SUROS Regime. Its super easy to control and will help you be able to handle pretty much any scenario you get into. Pick your preferred playstyle and go with the perks that fit how you like to play. Every else certainly is.

its the best auto rifle in the game…It is useless in PVE as are all the auto rifles. They do such little damage that its not worth using them. I love suros and destroy in crucible with it but in PVE this stays in my vault. I am a hand cannon guy (fatebringer) If I switch off that, it would be to use the vision of confluence which does almost DOUBLE the damage even with a lower max damage number.
