The Destiny Thunderlord: A Review of this Exotic Heavy Machine Gun

The Destiny Thunderlord is an exotic heavy machine gun, and you can get it by buying it from Xur, as a reward after you do the Crucible, from loot chests inside of the Vault of Glass, and it can be rewarded to you from the Weekly Nightfall Strike. This is a great weapon to have due to its fire rate and fast reloads after you kill an opponent. It causes Arc damage.

The amount of ammo you get with this gun’s magazines is seemingly small considering its a machine gun, however the damage that each hit can cause makes up for it. Definitely well known among the list of exotic weapons in the game, this is a great gun for those who like to keep their firefights between medium and long ranges.

Feeding Frenzy is a great ability with this gun as it helps to make sure that you can kill things off pretty quickly. This is because Feeding Frenzy reduces the reload time down to 3 seconds for a small duration of time. When you throw Lightning Rounds and and Perfect Balance into the mix you’ll have quite the killtastic time.

The Thunderlord Downsides

A great weapon for your average foe, Thunderlord isn’t the best to have when you’re taking on some of the higher ups in the game. You see, the enemies that have large amounts of health will kill your quick reload times, which turns it into a less than ideal gun to have. You could offset this a bit by grabbing Field Scout for a larger mag size, but then you’d have to ditch Perfect Balance, which means you’re going to be less accurate when you first start to spray bullets everywhere.
